BASE CAMP / KALA PATHAR
Our trek starts with a spectacular flight from
Kathmandu to Lukla, from where we take an interesting
route to the heart of Shepa country. After Namche,
the view are stunning, we take time to explore
the region. En route are the Khumjung, Pangboche
and Thyangboche and numerous Sherpa villages.
Thyangboche Ridge (3875m) is said to be the most
beautiful place on earth. As early morning ascend
of Kala Pathar (5545m) offers you a spectacular
view of Pumori (7145m) Everest (8848m). Lhotse
(8511m) and Nuptse (7889m) and wild beauty of
the Khumbu region. Return is via Pangboche and
Phortse villages which lies high above the junction
of the Dudh Koshi and Imja khola.
