The trek, which begins at Charikot, is 5 and
a half-hours drive from Kathmandu City. The route
is extraordinary with fantastic panoramic sights
including the walk through the pine, the Alpine
and the Rhododendron forests, unique Sherpa communities,
traditional pasture lands and abundant of orchids
with a fair amount of wildlife. You could be very
fortunate to witness the sunrise and the sunset
plus a complete mountain vista beginning from
the Annapurna to the Everest all from this remote
part of the country-we believe that the view from
here is absolutely fabulous and exquisite. Our
own trekking guides under whose recommendation
we’ve entered this into our regular schedule
pioneered this new route.
