Mt. SHISHAPANGMA (8,027m / 26,335ft)
Expedition
Shishapangma happens to be the only peak lying
entirely in Tibet and is regarded to be one of
the easier 8000 m peaks along with Cho-Oyu, though
it is most straightforward 8000 m climb that the
summit is frequently achieved. The approach is
same as for Cho-Oyu. Among the 14 peaks over 8000
meters in the world, Shisha Pangma ranks the last.
The climate of Shisha Pangma is quite close to
that of Everest. The best timing for mountaineering
activities comes each year in April-May and September-October.
