CHULU EAST (6,200m / 20,341ft)

An exotic Trekking, Climbing Adventure into the High Valleys of Manang and the Round Annapurna

Chulu East is situated high above the Manang valley, which was first climbed by Dick Isherwood and John Noble in 1979. You can have a breadth taking views across to the Annapurna I, II, III, IV and Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. The climb is combined with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif and the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorong La before descending to the Kali Gandaki valley. Technically this peak is forward and you should be familiar with the use of common equipments like crampons, harness, ice-axe and most of the climbing will be involved with roped together.

Day 01  Arrive Kathamndu.
Day 02  Tour in Kathmandu.
Day 03  Drive to Beshishahar.
Day 04-1  On trek.
Day 12-13  Ascent of Chulu East.
Day 14- 24  Trek to Nayapul via Thorong-La & drive to Pokhara.
Day 25  Fly Pokhara / Kathmandu.
Day 27  International departure.
